It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Merthel Whittle of Brownsville, Kentucky, who passed away on July 22, 2023, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Lewis Coleman and Pauline Embry Ritter; and her sister Mary Magdalene Meredith. She is survived by: her husband Leon Whittle; her sons, Grant (Stephanie Whittle) and Gregory (Kelly Whittle) of Brownsville; and her grandchildren, Kaitlin Sisk (Brandon), Trent Whittle and Chloe Whittle.
