It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Marcella Cummings of Brownsville, Kentucky, born in Grayson, Kentucky, who passed away on October 28, 2024, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, David Thurman "D. T." and Tora Bea Watkins Haycraft; her husband Johnny Cummings, Jr.; and her siblings, Edwina Brown, Eugene Haycraft and Laree VanMeter.
She is survived by: her children, Rhonda Meredith (Gary) of Bee Spring, David Cummings (Sheila) of Bowling Green and Donna Martin (Porter) of Smiths Grove; her grandchildren, Brett Meredith (Heather), Ryan Cummings (Jessica), Krista Stinson (Miles), Maci Davidson (Tanner) and Peyton Martin; and her great grandchildren, Jackson Bley Meredith, Brooklyn, Camden, Adam Cummings, Mav, Jax Stinson, JoJo and Vinny Davidson. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, neighbors, and countless friends.
Visitation was held on Saturday, November 2nd 2024 from 11:00 AM to 3:00 PM at the Patton Funeral Home Brownsville Chapel (504 Washington St, Brownsville, KY 42210). A celebration of life was held on Saturday, November 2nd 2024 at 3:00 PM at the Patton Funeral Home - Brownsville (504 Washington St, Brownsville, KY 42210).
