She is survived by: her daughter Tammy Joy Ferrell (Jeffrey) of Brownsville; her brother Ray Thornton of Indiana; her close friend Barbara Spillman; her nephews, Todd Riley and Kenneth Thornton; her niece Natalie Arnold; and her cousin Reanne Hyatt (Michael).
