She was predeceased by: her parents, Hillard Saling and Josephine Crowder Saling; her former husband Lewis Raymer; her daughter Patty Gann; and her foster son Elvin Ryder.
She is survived by: her husband Elbert "Sonny" Basham; her daughters, Iris Lucas (Jack) of Newport News, VA and Gina Browning (Glenn) of Brownsville; her brother Willard Saling (Tina) of Louisville; her stepson Richard Dewitt (Rhonda) of Leitchfield; and her son-in-law Steve Gann. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
