He was predeceased by: his parents, Willard Whittinghill and Elzo Chambers Whittinghill; his daughter Sharon A. Whittinghill; and his siblings, Vernetia Weinstein, Carl Whittinghill, Sam Whittinghill, Bob Whittinghill and Gary Whittinghill.
He is survived by: his wife Peggy Alexander Whittinghill; his children, Cindy Rich (Jeff) of Smiths Grove, James Whittinghill of Smiths Grove and Michelle Buttram (Joe) of Smiths Grove; his grandchildren, Joey Carnes (Lindsay), Miranda Thomas (Austin), Clay Buttram (Raley) and Hunter Buttram (Cleo); and his siblings, Bill Whittinghill (Ruth), Glen Whittinghill (Sue), Norma Crawford and Darrell Whittinghill. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
