He was predeceased by: his daughters, Sherry Byrns and Joan Daugherty; and his siblings, Floyd, Wilbert, Everett Wells, Helen, Mae, Mildred Irene and Lucy.
He is survived by: his children, Danny Wells (Marilyn) of Brownsville, Kathy L. Sanders (Timmey) of Brownsville, Lisa F. Hoffman (Michael) of Bon Ayr and Susan Bunch (John) of Alvaton; and his siblings, Jimmy Wells of Wingfield, Virginia Wilson of Brownsville and Thelma Jean of Ellettsville, IN.. He is also survived by fourteen grandchildren; eighteen great-grandchildren.
