He was predeceased by: his daughter Beverly Jean Embry; his parents, Bill Embry and Emma Johnson Embry; and his siblings, Wendell Embry, Joddie Embry and Carolyn Renfrow.
He is survived by: his wife Linda Peay Embry; his sons, Mark Embry, Scott Embry (Misty), Jonathan Embry (Loni) and Chad Embry (Megan); his grandchildren, Kayla, Dylan, Savannah, Luke, Zachary, Aiden, Kinsley, Andrew, Matthew and Nathan Embry; and his great grandchildren, Abby, Ella, Lyla Embry and Olive Keene. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, March 1st 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Smith Cemetery (128 Anderson Store Rd, Russellville, KY 42276). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, March 1st 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Smith Funeral Home (403 N Main St, Morgantown, KY 42261).
