He was predeceased by: his parents, Fred Smith and Elizabeth Fryman Smith; his wife Janice Delk Smith; his children, Wanda Faye Smith and Ronnie Allen Smith; and his siblings, Freddie Smith, Joyce Ann Smith and Carl Smith.
He is survived by: his children, Sherry Raleigh (Steven) of Melbourne, KY, Beverly Smith (Danny Waddell) of Augusta, KY and Roy Smith, Jr. (Crystal) of Brooksville, KY; his grandchildren, Nicholas Raleigh, Samantha Brown, Elaine Roark, Alexis Roark, Bethany Smith and Robert Smith; his great grandchildren, Eleanor Brown, Gabe Brown, Oliver Brown and Adalynn Stanfield; and his sister Betty Jane Smith Along.
