She was predeceased by: her parents, Jacob Bauer and Caroline Jones Bauer; and her husband James B. Maddox. She is survived by: her children, Rhonda Welch (Jake) of Maysville, KY, James "J. B." Maddox (Melissa) of Maysville, KY, Mark Maddox (Tasha) of Germantown, KY, Patrick "Pat" Maddox (Holly) of St. Paul, MN and Jacob "Jake" Maddox (Natasha) of Germantown, KY; her grandchildren, Nicholas Maddox, Krista Wheeler, Kyle Maddox, Katie Harrison, Olivia Harrison, Connor Maddox, Bryce Maddox, Lexi Maddox, Jackson Maddox, Dalton Maddox, Dylan Maddox and Jacob Maddox; and her sisters, Donna Day of Brooksville, KY., Angie Bauer of Brooksville, KY. and Mary Alice Thornsbury of Brooksville, KY.. She is also survived by nine great grandchildren.
