With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Leslie Lee Newman of Brooksville, Kentucky, born in Portsmouth, Ohio, who passed away on March 9, 2021 at the age of 83. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Leslie Lee Newman to pay them a last tribute.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Oakley Newman and Alma Howard Newman; and his siblings, Lyle, Lawrence, Lovell Newman, Loa Chapman and Laura Routt.

He is survived by: his wife Betty Newman; his children, Joey Newman (Lisa) and Tammy Walton (Brett); his grandchildren, Felicia, Tyler, Colten Newman (Amber), Tanner Walton (Morgan), Mariah Lang (Justin), Paisley, Cash, Knox, Jax Cooke, McKinley, Rylee Newman, Harper, Abel Weiss, Branten Newman and Indie Walton; his sisters, Lillian Varner of Middletown, OH and Lela Smallwood of Brooksville; and his sister-in-law Mabel Newman of Brooksville. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Donations may be made to Brooksville Christian Church or Cincinnati Children's Hospital Heart Institute.
