He is survived by: his wife Karen Lee Nelson; his children, John Nelson (Brandy) of Calilfornia, KY, Justin Nueby (Melissa) of Foster, KY, Lisa Hiles of Foster, KY and Laura Nelson of Foster, KY; his grandchildren, Marisa Cooper, Megan Hiles, Makala Nueby, Abby Nueby, Ethan Nueby, Harley Nelson and Hunter Nelson; his siblings, Janet Waliczek of Cold Spring and Darrell Lynn Nelson (Donna) of California, KY; his father-in-law Hubert Nickoson; and his close friend Zander Wehring. He is also survived by six great-grandchildren.
