She was predeceased by: her father James Charley; her husband Carl William Gerhard; her siblings, Fay Cummins Lovett, Betty Cummins Newman and James William "Bill" Cummins; her half-brothers, Louis Cummins, Ray Cummins and Earl Cummins; her son-in-law Russell Bishop; and her friend Donald Pickrell.
She is survived by: her children, Kenny Gerhard (Phyllis) and Kathy Bishop; and her grandchildren, Rodney Gerhard (Amanda), Scotty Bishop (Susan), Shad Bishop (Beth), Angie Brammer (Eric), Tony Bishop (Janet) and Tim Bishop (Andrea). She is also survived by 18 great grandchildren; and 11 great great grandchildren.
Memorials may be made to Augusta Baptist Church, Gideons, or Concord United Methodist Church.
