He was predeceased by: his parents, Odell Rogers and Jesse Watson Rogers; his wife Sarah Hughes Rogers; his son Joe Rogers; and his siblings, Emma Johnson, Aileen Hatton, Eugene Rogers and Eddie Rogers.
He is survived by: his children, David Allen Rogers of Brooksville, Shelia Rogers of Brooksville and Peggy Smith of Newport; his grandchildren, Samantha Rogers-Berte (Ken), Bryant Rogers, Todd Smith and Bobby Joe Hillard; and his great grandchild Brailee Rogers.
