He was predeceased by: his parents, Bryon Jett, Jr. and Della "Campbell" Jett; his wife Sandy "Barnes" Jett; his siblings, Earl, Charlie Jett and Theresa; and his stepfather John McDonald.
He is survived by: his daughter Rhonda Calvert (Joe); his grandchildren, Roy E. Jett, Jr. (Jennifer), Amber, Bethany, Jenna, Kullen, Brandon and Josh; his sister Bertie Parkhill; and the mother of his children Pam Jett. He is also survived by ten great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Thursday, January 2nd 2025 from 1:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Friday, January 3rd 2025 at 9:00 AM. A funeral service was held on Friday, January 3rd 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Chapel of Schoppenhorst, Underwood and Brooks Funeral Home (4895 N Preston Hwy, Shepherdsville, KY 40165). A burial was held on Friday, January 3rd 2025 at the New Salem Memorial Cemetery.
