He was predeceased by: his parents, Bryon Jett, Jr. and Della "Campbell" Jett; his wife Sandy "Barnes" Jett; his siblings, Earl, Charlie Jett and Theresa; and his stepfather John McDonald.

He is survived by: his daughter Rhonda Calvert (Joe); his grandchildren, Roy E. Jett, Jr. (Jennifer), Amber, Bethany, Jenna, Kullen, Brandon and Josh; his sister Bertie Parkhill; and the mother of his children Pam Jett. He is also survived by ten great grandchildren.
