He is survived by: his wife Cathy Compton (Garrett); his grandson Tyler Compton; his daughters, Carol and Alicia Janes (Landon); his sisters, Sheila Smith (Dickie) and Theresa Allen; and his siblings-in-law, Gloria Compton, Peggy Garrett and Tim Garrett (Frances). He is also survived by nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
