He was predeceased by : his parents, Severo Rodriguez Medrano and Maria (Refugio Gonzales); his sister Paula Medrano; his significant other Joyce Ann Trammell; and also Chris Giddens.

He is survived by : his daughters, Michelle Medrano Moseley, Rachael Medrano Jordan (Billy) of Louisiana and Rebekah Witherington of Kentucky; his siblings, Rosalio "Chalio" Medrano (Martha), Teresa Medrano, Miguel Medrano (Frances), Ysabel "Chavelo" Medrano (Corina), Manuel "Manny" Medrano (Sara) and Carmen Medrano Lujan (Roberto) of New Mexico; his grandchildren, DJ Moseley, Randall Moseley and Hope Moseley (Matt); his great grandchildren, William and Annalise Tilbury; and his grandsons, Oliver Witherington and Barrett Via.

Visitation was held on Saturday, June 22nd 2024 from 9:30 AM to 12:00 PM at the Maraman Billings Funeral Home (605 Preston Hwy, Shepherdsville, KY 40165). A funeral service was held on Saturday, June 22nd 2024 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
