He was predeceased by: his parents, Helen R. and William B. Peter, Sr.; and his siblings, Carol Peter, William Peter, Jr. and Joann Oechslin.
He is survived by: his wife Sherryl Peter (Brown); his sisters, Kay Hans (Mike), Jean Hobson (Gordon) and Paula Koebel (Anthony); his brother-in-law Ed Oechslin; and his close friend Marty Hensley. He is also survived by her children, grandchildren and great-grandson.
