He was predeceased by: his wife Ettie Jane McCaslin; his parents, Carl Adwell and Mildred Adwell; his son Charles (Fanny McCaslin); his son-in-law Don Bowman; and his siblings, Lynn Phillips and Kenny Adwell.

He is survived by: his children, Karen Bowman, Robin McCaslin and Chuck McCaslin (Stacy); his grandchildren, Teresa, Andy Bischoff, Ally, Brianna and Catie McCaslin; and his great grandchildren, Jordan Myshia and Abby.
