He was predeceased by : his parents, Earl and Ethyl; his wife Norma June; and his siblings, Kenneth Engler and Hazel Robinson.

He is survived by : his children, James (Linda), Don (Shelli), Terry (Margaret) and Susan Jamison (Mark); his grandchildren, Michael Engler, Tammy Jowers, Jimmy Engler, Allison Woosley, Ashley Engler and Aaron Zweifel; and his brother Billie Engler. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
