He was predeceased by: his siblings, Steve Howard Whitaker and Jenny Walden; and his grandmother Cordia Vahle. He is survived by: his wife Nancy Williams McGuffey; his grandchildren, Kevin, Karen and Keith; his great grandchildren, Eli, Jonah, Reese, Brynn, Katie and Brody; and his sisters, Shirley Wright, Paula and Johnson. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
