He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles A. Newell and Lucille Flynn Newell Young; and his sisters, Marsha Stillwell and Arlene Robbins. He is survived by: his wife Sandra; his sisters, Brenda Newell of Lexington and Janice Hatfield (Jeff) of Bronston; his cousin David Newell; his nieces, Vickie Stigall (Jimmy) of Somerset and Rhonda Finley (Daniel) of Ft. Wright, KY; his friend Ruby Newell of Somerset; and his close friends, Carter Stewart and Roger Caskey.
