He was predeceased by: his parents, Christine Flynn Jr. and Sam Flynn Jr.; his wife Judith K. Flynn; and his son Joel S. Flynn. He is survived by: his siblings, Wayne Flynn (Shirley), Paul Flynn (Quen), Roberta Thaxton (Larry), Elsie Hardwick (Gary) and Stellene Larue.
