He is survived by: his wife Shelva Jo Wood Black; his daughter Amie Michelle Couch of Richmond; his grandchildren, Dade Michael Sims, Aiden Cole Sims and Allyson Michelle of Maine; and his sister Brenda Jeanette Robinson (Rodney) of Somerset.
