We are sad to announce that on December 22, 2023, at the age of 73, Michael W. Blackson of Bronston, Kentucky, born in Harlan, Kentucky passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his father William Blackson. He is survived by: his mother Helen Harp Blackson of St. Paul, Virginia; his wife Patricia Blackson; his children, Michael S. Blackson (Chrissy) of Virginia and Kelly Elliott (John) of Knoxville, Tennessee; his stepdaughter Lisa Adams (Danny) of Somerset; his brothers, Steve Blackson (Barbara) of Virginia and Jacky Blackson (Lisa) of Virginia; his grandchildren, Ashton, Austin, Raina Blackson and Jack Elliott; and his stepgranddaughter Olivia Armitage. He is also survived by other family member and friends.

In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations be made to Hospice of Lake Cumberland.
