It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Michael Avery Vanover Sr. of Bronston, Kentucky, born in Cincinnati, Ohio, who passed away on October 25, 2022, at the age of 74, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Alonzo Avery Vanover and Annabelle Abbott Vanover; his wife Delecia Kathy Vanover; his son Alonzo Michael Vanover; his brothers, Gary Vanover, Doug Vanover, David Vanover and Rick Vanover; and his brother-in-law Dwayne Adkins.
He is survived by: his children, Tiffany Hamlin (Jason) of Bronston, Lisa Church (Roscoe) of Lexington, Sherry Terry (Dwight Human) of Robbins, Nicholas Vanover of Marshes Siding, Michael Avery Vanover (Sherry) of Indianapolis and Anthony Avery Byrd (Michelle) of Michigan; and his siblings, Gregory Vanover (Sheila) of Whitley City and Sharon Adkins of Stearns. He is also survived by other relatives and friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggest that expressions of sympathy take the form of contributions to the Michael Vanover Memorial Fund in care of Somerset Undertaking Company, 113 North Main Street, Somerset, Kentucky 42501.
