He was predeceased by: his parents, Everett Simpson and Flonnie Mae Rednour Simpson; his nephew Jeffrey Simpson; his grandparents, Shafter, Ora Simpson, Jim and Mattie Rednour; and his brothers-in-law, Melton Jones and Bill Joe Lawhorn.
He is survived by: his siblings, Dewey Simpson of Somerset, Donnie Simpson of London, Mary Lee Edwards of Somerset, Norma Dick (Michael) of Somerset, Phyllis Jones of Somerset and Linda Simpson (Bryan Kennedy) of Somerset; and his close friend Virgil Dalton. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, family and friends.
A funeral service was held on Monday, March 24th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Chapel of the Southern Oaks Funeral Home (2110 KY-914, Somerset, KY 42503).
