He was predeceased by: his parents, Stanley Kennedy, Jr. and Donna Lanyon Kennedy; and his siblings, David Kennedy, Jo Anne Noble and Sarah Ratliff.

He is survived by: his brothers, Terry Kennedy and Roger Bratton. He is also survived by eleven nieces and nephews.
