It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Dessie Mae Dalton (Bronston, Kentucky), who passed away on April 29, 2019, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her former husbands, John Logan Thompson and William Dalton, Jr.; her children, Carl Thompson, Walter Thompson, Jerry Thompson and Betty Pearl Dalton; her parents, Charlie Kidd and Artie Kidd; and her siblings, Daniel Kidd, Ola Kidd, Vena Martin, Martha Nevels, Zona Davis and Minnie McKee.
She is survived by: her daughters, Opal Dalton of Marion, IN, Judy Butcher (Carl) of Nancy, KY, Gloria Farrington of Monticello and Mary Thompson of Bronston, KY; her grandchildren, Jamie Dalton of Marion, IN, Michelle Hall (Rick) of Indiana, Carlis Thompson of Oneida, TN, William Farrington (Katie) of Big Piney, WY, Jessica Childers (Jason) of Somerset, KY, Jeremy Thompson of Monticello, KY, Ross Thompson (Megan) of Monticello, KY, Dakota Farrington of Richmond, KY and Bryan Farrington of McCreary County, KY; her great grandchildren, Matthew Childers, Lucas Childers, Angela Thompson, Camden Thompson, Jonah Thompson, Luna Thompson, Riley Thompson, David Farrington, Judah Farrington, Titus Farrington, Ephraim Farrington, Selah Farrington, Aurora Farrington, Tirzah Farrington, Jachin Farrington and Tobias Farrington; her daughter-in-law Ella Thompson of Monticello, KY; and her siblings-in-law, Charity Kidd of Somerset, KY and Cecil "Pete" Nevels of Bronston, KY. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, friends.
