He was predeceased by: his mother Lorraine Williams; his son Chan Dale Hurst; and his brother Roger Hurst. He is survived by: his wife Barbara "Bobbie" Estes Hurst; his daughters, Kammy Hurst Dyer of Winchester, KY and Tara Hurst (Tory) of Campbellsville, KY; his granddaughter Kelsey Wells (Ryan) of Winchester, KY; and also Tucker. He is also survived by many other relatives and friends.
