He was predeceased by: his parents, John Nevels and Mattie Tucker Nevels; his wife Martha Nevels; his son Gary Nevels; and his siblings, Henry Nevels, Oval Nevels, Hettie Cowan, Mary Jones, Lori Correll and Beulah Nevels.
He is survived by: his children, Timothy Nevels of Bronston, KY, Tony Nevels of Bronston, KY, Benjamin Nevels of Bronston, KY and Penny Livengood (Kevin) of Somerset; his grandchildren, Jeffrey Cogdill, Zachary Cogdill, Bethany Nevels, Christopher Nevels, Abbey Nevels and McKenzie Nevels; his great grandchildren, Jaxon Williamson, Emmalee Williamson and Luca Cogdill; and his siblings, Richard Nevels and Easter Ent.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Cecil Nevels memorial fund to help with funeral expenses.
