With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Violet Burton (Brodhead, Kentucky), born in Somerset, Kentucky, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on October 10, 2024. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Dallas Carter and Emma Carter (Goff); her husband James L Burton (Lloyd); and her siblings-in-law, Floyd Raines, Carl Burton, Ronnie Burton, Jearl Cromer, Berniece Cromer and Ruth Owens.
She is survived by: her children, Doug Burton (Cathy), Jim Burton (Rae Lynn) and Paula Middendorf (Jeff); her grandchildren, Matt (Becky), Nicholas Burton, Michaeline Bailey, Brandy Grubb (Shannon), Ashley Stanifer (Dewayne), Chelsey Pettyjohn (Adam), Emmalee Middendorf (Parker) and Maggie Burton (AJ); her great grandchildren, Elizabeth Burton, Logan Grubb (Danielle), Alexis Grubb (Thomas), Kody Grubb (Emily), Owen, Oliver, Sydney Stanifer, Trevor, Harper Pettyjohn and Elliot Phillips; her great great grandchildren, Cayden Grubb and Riverlynn Hill; her sister Edie Raines; and her sister-in-law Billie Burton. She is also survived by her family and greatly enjoyed her grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren.
