He was predeceased by: his parents, Cecil Payne and Ada Hines Payne; his son Jeffrey Payne; and his sister Linda Sue Payne. He is survived by: his sons, Derrick Payne (Amber) of Mt and Rodney Payne (Vernon) of Mt; his sisters, Louise Mink of Mt, Ruth Etta Kirby of Mt and Rita Payne of Mt; his grandchildren, Jeffery Slayton Payne of Mt. Vernon, Adasynn La'Faye Payne of Mt. Vernon and Hailey Elizabeth Payne of Mt. Vernon; and his close friend Jim Prewitt. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, family, friends.
Due to the current Covid-19 restrictions, face masks are required, social distancing is encouraged, and church capacity will be limited to 60%.
