He was predeceased by: his parents, Marion Burton and Wilma Gibbs Parkey; his wife Terry Louise Parkey; his sister Teressa Parkey; and his sister-in-law Karen Parkey.
He is survived by: his children, Scott Parkey (Kristy) of Campbellsville and Jaime Parkey of Brodhead; his grandsons, Noah Parkey, Rex Parkey and Caleb Smith; his brother Doug Parkey of Brazil, IN; and his children, John Parkey (Valerie), Mark Parkey (Amber) and Ramey Rowe (Doug).
