He was predeceased by: his parents, Hershel Tolson and Christine Fain Tolson; his sons, Mathew Tolson and Eric Smith; and his brother Keith Lee Tolson.
He is survived by: his wife Lena Tolson; his children, Travis Tolson, Kara Caudill and Selena Bray; his grandchildren, Austin Napier, Haley Bray, Aliah Bray and Will Smith; his great grandchildren, Bryson Napier, Brylee Napier and Auna Pearson; and his siblings, Gary Tolson (Sue) of Nicholasville, KY, Dennis Tolson (Pat) of Georgia and Carolyn Smith of Versailles, KY. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, friends.
