He was predeceased by: his parents, Arnold Cleavie and Virtie Edwards (Carter); his brother William Arnold Edwards (Willie); and his half-sister Norma Joyce McDonald. He is survived by: his wife Wanda Lou Edwards (Denney); his children, Michael Edwards (Julie) of Science Hill and Chris Edwards (Jessica) of Liberty; his stepchildren, Anthony Dwayne Carroll of Brodhead, Kimberley Michelle Fields (Ray) of Brodhead and Barry Ray Carroll (Virginia) of Brodhead; his grandchildren, Landon and Erin Noe of Liberty; and his stepgrandchildren, Kathy Jo Lane, James Matthew Fields, Lauren Brooke Fields, Rachel Lee Anna Carroll (Aidan) and Heather Renne Carroll.

Visitation will be held on Friday, September 20th 2024 from 12:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Marvin E. Owens Home (148 W Main St, Brodhead, KY 40409). A funeral service will be held on Friday, September 20th 2024 at 3:00 PM at the Marvin E Owens Home (148 W Main St, Brodhead, KY 40409).
