He was predeceased by: his parents, Pete Burke and Elizabeth Brummett Burke; his wife Opal Burke; and his brothers, Bud, Ed, Paris, Jay, Pete Jr. and Bobby.
He is survived by: his grandchildren, Yancee Paul Burchett (Liz) and Shawnee Christian Burchett (Heather); and his sisters, Jewell Maxine Murphy, Shirley Ann Burke-Smith of Crab Orchard, Rosa Lee Nickell, Ella May Lanham and Dorothy Bartley.
In lieu of flowers the family ask that donations be made to Disabled American Veterans or Saint Jude's.
