He was predeceased by: his parents, Bert Cromer and Mattie Winstead Cromer; and his brothers, Kenneth Cromer, Earl Benton Cromer and Charles Cromer.
He is survived by: his wife Sue Vanwinkle Cromer; his children, Kimberly Singleton (Derrick), Krista Owens (Shaun), Kelli Asher (Brent) and Shannon Osbourne (Rob Perkins); his grandchildren, Evan, Julianna, Jayna, Isabella Singleton, Harrison, Samuel Owens, Aaron, Isaac, Lilyanna Asher and James Perkins; and his siblings, Jimmy Cromer (Shirley), Bethada Mullins of Mt. Vernon, KY and Midge Cummins (Jimmy).
