He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Chester and Maggie Marie Renner Cromer; his sisters, Alene Fowler and Carolyn King; and his son-in-law Terry Lee Harris.

He is survived by: his children, Randy Cromer (Vicki) of Brodhead, Tony Cromer of Louisville and Tammy Bailey (Brian) of Crab Orchard; his granddaughters, Terra Harris, Brittney Campbell (Brandon) and Brandy Harris; his great grandchildren, Kierra Bingham, Braedon Campbell, Brody Campbell, Easton Coffey, Blain Campbell and Ezra Harris; his brother Gary Cromer of Quail; and the mother of his children Patty Cromer.
