He was predeceased by: his parents, James Burdette and Rebecca York Burdette; and his siblings, Marjorie Cummins, Ada Coffey of Wanda Burton, L. C., Arvel, Owen, Walter, Thomas and Ulysses Burdette.
He is survived by: his wife Lois Jane "Pearl" Livesay Burdette of Mt. Vernon; and his children, Chris Burdette of Mt. Vernon, Vicki Burdette of Mt. Vernon, Michael Burdette (Pamela) of Mt. Vernon and James Burdette (Pam) of Mt. Vernon.
Visitation was held on Sunday, January 19th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Marvin E. Owens Home. A funeral service was held on Sunday, January 19th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Marvin E Owens Home.
