He was predeceased by: his son Tony Proctor; his siblings, Charles D. Proctor and Wanda Lou Carnell; his half-sister Linda Proctor; and his former wife Mary Ezma Wydick Proctor.
He is survived by: his children, Althea Ray Blandford (Tim) and Joey Lynn Proctor, Sr.; his caregiver Betty Gunterman; his stepchildren, Lynn Doss (Drew), Jeff Bratcher, Sherry Craig (John), Rhonda Bratcher and Tina Pointer; and also, Terry A. Morris (Denise), Peggy L. Miller, Douglas Morris (Amy), Billy Morris (Rose) and Bobby Morris (Debbie). He is also survived by several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
A burial was held on Wednesday, February 5th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Tucker Funeral Home (113 N 3rd St, Central City, KY 42330). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, February 5th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
