He was predeceased by: his wife Sharon Nelson; and his parents, Samuel Neal and Lucy Neal. He is survived by: his pet Sugar; his children, Carrie Beth Nelson of Bremen, Cherie Anne Abbott of Colorado and James Bradley Nelson of Ft. Wayne, IN; his sister Faye Flener; and his grandchildren, Gabriel Masden, Gavin Masden, Jessica Sosh and Dallas Abbott. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
