He was predeceased by: his sons, Herbert Koonce Jr. and Roger Koonce. He is survived by: his wife Margaret Ingram Koonce; his grandchildren, Beth Jones (Jacey) of White Plains and Leslie Koonce (Dawn) of Powderly; his great grandchildren, Jeb, Jericho, Jake, Eden, Ronnie, Raven and Anthony; and his daughters-in-law, Debbie Koonce and Robin Koonce.
