He was predeceased by: his parents, Ora Paul Sacks and Naomi "Eunice" Spoor Holt. He is survived by: his wife Betty Couch Sacks of Breeding, KY; and his children, Hugh Newton of Washington, Ricky A. Newton of Indiana, Kimberly Walsh Spitler (Joey) of North Carolina, Jacqueline Apa (Mimmo) of Florida, Brenda Holsing of Florida and Ruben Sacks (Lauren) of Florida. He is also survived by seventeen grandchildren and several other friends.
