He was predeceased by: his parents, Bernie Basham and Mildred Basham; his wife Thelma Jean "Jeanie" Basham; and his brother Steve Basham. He is survived by: his children, DJ Benham (Misty), Donna Brown (Joe) and Tammy Hardesty (Joey); his grandchildren, Garett Benham (Makaela), Connor Benham, Brylee Benham, Adrienne Brown, Dominic Brown (Rachel), Zac Brown (Sydney), Tiffany Humphrey and Jill Miller (Tim); his great grandchildren, Ellie Benham, Kaiden Mercer, Jonah Brown, Zane Brown, Ayla Brown, Layni Jo Brown, Nevaeh Humphrey and Autumn Humphrey; his siblings, J. B. Basham (JoAnn) and Charlene Lasley (Elbert); and his close friend Dorothy Robertin. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
