It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mary Thornhill of Brandenburg, Kentucky, who passed away on July 30, 2024, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, George Presley Benham and Mildred Thomas Griffee Benham; her husband Allie "John" Thornhill; and her siblings, Thomas Franklin Benham, Stuart Presley Benham, Roy Dean Benham and Kay McGehee.
She is survived by: her children, John A. Thornhill (Linda) of Brandenburg, KY, Judy Pennington (Randy) of Corydon, IN, Kathy Lambert (Stephen) of Brandenburg, KY and Rosemary Johnston (Bradley) of Brandenburg, KY; and her siblings, Rose Welch of Brandenburg, KY and Kenneth Ray Benham of Covington, VA. She is also survived by 8 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren, and 7 great-great-grandchildren.
