We are sad to announce that on February 13, 2025, at the age of 88, Marlene Frey in Brandenburg, Kentucky passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though Marlene may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Marlene touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Eugen Bresch and Paula Bresch; her husband Roger Eugene Frey; and her son Jurgen "Jake" Frey. She is survived by: her siblings, Lydia Berger, Doris Bresch and Walter Bresch; her close friend Amy Boyer; and her nieces, Sonja and Doris Berger of Germany.
Visitation was held on Thursday, February 20th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM at the Bruington Jenkins Sturgeon Funeral Home (198 Lawrence St, Brandenburg, KY 40108). A funeral service was held on Thursday, February 20th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
