She was predeceased by: her parents, Carr Richard, Sr. and Manervia Saunders Hall; her husband Raymond Cottrell, Sr.; her granddaughter Ashley Tyree; and her siblings, Dorothy Garnett, Thelma Cecil and Richard Saunders, Jr..
She is survived by: her children, Raymond Cottrell, Jr. (Karen) and Brenda Tyree (Mike); her brother Stuart Saunders; her grandchildren, Joseph Tyree (Willa), Ryan Tyree (Nicole), Chris Cottrell (Amber), Angie Wise (Cliff), Aron Cottrell (Kim), Devin Darnall (Jennifer) and Dustin Darnall (Alana); her foster daughter Peggy; and her grandchildren, Amy, Mandi and Anna. She is also survived by 24 great grandchildren; two great-great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Vine Grove Baptist Church in her memory.
