It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lois Hazle Cole of Brandenburg, Kentucky, born in Hodgenville, Kentucky, who passed away on October 12, 2023, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Dr Walter A. Cole, Jr.; her daughter Karen Ann Cole; and her parents, Thomas Middleton Hazle and Beulah Shewmaker Hazle. She is survived by: her children, Alice Denise Cole-Russell (Rick) of Nashville, TN and Walter Allen Cole III (Anne) of Cincinnati, OH; her grandchildren, Walter Andrew Cole (Maria) of Cincinnati, Daniel Luke Curnow (Abby) of Smyrna, TN, Stephen JP Curnow of Lynn Haven, FL and Hayley Lucina Fahrnbach (Joe) of Cincinnati; her great grandchildren, Blaiklee, Crew, Cove Curnow and Henry Walter Cole; her brother William "Bill" Hazle of Hodgenville; and her nieces, Hallie, Stacey and Billi.
