She was predeceased by: her parents, John Adams and Aleatha Adams-Floyd (Pack); her stepfather Frank Floyd; her husband Alvin D. Thompson, Sr.; and her brothers, James "Doc" Adams and Wayne Adams.
She is survived by: her children, Alvin D. "Ooner" Thompson, Jr. (Debbie) and Angela F. Laslie (Barry); her granddaughters, Kelli Brown (Jimmy) and Kristina Powell (Cliff); her great grandchildren, Mac Powell, Tucker, Kase and Allie Brown; and her brother Phillip Adams (Shirley). She is also survived by three nephews.
Expressions of sympathy may take the form of contributions to New Brandenburg Southern Baptist Church.
