It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joseph Hays of Brandenburg, Kentucky, born in Louisville, Kentucky, who passed away on July 8, 2024, at the age of 58, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Russell Hays and Earlene Chappell Ratliff; his stepparents, Anna Hays and David Ratliff; his grandmother Mary Lee Troutman; his sister-in-law E. J. Hays; and his nephew Joe "Kidd" Harrod.
He is survived by: his siblings, Mary Ann Dowell of Irvington, KY, Jimmy Hays of Brandenburg, KY, Amy Ratliff of Irvington, Robin Truluck Long, Gail McClaskey of Radcliff, KY, Michael Ratliff of Hope Mills, NC, Bryan Ratliff of Irvington and Danny Truluck of Brandenburg. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.
